Creating an Organization
Set up your organization on Tabletop League to start running competitions.
Getting Started
- Navigate to Create Organization from the user menu or the For Organizers page
- Follow the guided setup wizard to configure your organization
Setup Wizard Steps
1. Organization Details
- Name (required) — your organization's display name (3-100 characters). A URL slug is automatically generated from the name.
- Description (optional) — a brief summary of your organization (up to 500 characters).
- Avatar — a square logo image for your organization (max 5MB).
- Banner — a wide banner image displayed on your organization page (max 5MB).
2. Game Systems
Select the tabletop games your organization will run events for. This helps players discover your competitions. You can update your game system selections at any time from your organization settings.
3. Invite Team Members
Search for existing Tabletop League users by name or username and add them as Staff members. Staff members can help manage competitions and will automatically receive organizer access.
- You can invite up to 10 team members during setup
- Additional members can be added later from your organization's settings page
- Team members are assigned the Staff role by default; you can change roles in settings
4. Review and Create
Review all your selections before creating the organization. Everything can be changed later from your organization's settings page.
After Setup
Once your organization is created:
- You will be set as the Owner with full management access
- Your account will automatically receive Organizer privileges
- Invited team members will also receive organizer access
- You can start creating competitions immediately
Managing Your Team
From your organization settings (/o/your-slug/settings/members), you can:
- Add or remove team members
- Change member roles: Owner, Admin, Staff, or Member
- Members with Owner, Admin, or Staff roles automatically receive organizer access across the platform
