Player Ratings
Give your community a skill leaderboard built from the matches played at your events — a "house ranking" for your scene, separate from each player's platform-wide rating.
Turning on ratings
Ratings are configured per game system under Settings → Ratings (/o/<your-org>/settings/ratings). For each game system you run, pick a rating model:
- Glicko-2 — a modern system that tracks both a player's skill and how confident it is, shown as
1650 ± 85. Best for most communities. See Stats & Rankings for the full player-facing explanation of Glicko-2, rating deviation, and provisional ratings. - Elo — the classic single-number system, if you prefer something simpler.
Only organization owners and admins can change this.
Which matches count
A player's rating with your organization is built only from your rated competitions — the events carrying the Rated badge (the same flag that feeds the platform leaderboard). Completed 1v1 matches update ratings; forfeits and byes never do — a walkover win or a scheduling no-show moves no one's rating. (Competition standings are separate: forfeits still cost standings points there.)
Viewing the leaderboard
Once a game system is configured and rated matches have been played, a Ratings button appears on your organization's page, along with a short Player Ratings preview of the current top five. The full board lives at /o/<your-org>/ratings:
- Rankings — every rated player, best first, with their rating and games played. Players are shown by their display name.
- Rated competitions — the events feeding the board, so members can see exactly what counts.
Exporting to CSV
Owners and admins see an Export CSV button on each game system's board. It downloads the full ranked list — rank, player, username, rating, rating deviation, games played, and last-played date — handy for prizes, seeding, or your own spreadsheets.
Players see their standing too
Every player's profile has an Organizer ratings section listing their rating at each organizer they play with, so they can track how they stack up in your scene specifically.
