The site got a lot faster this week — and a few long-requested quality-of-life fixes landed alongside it.
We rebuilt how pages are served so the shell of every page — competition pages, org pages, leaderboards, match pages — appears instantly while live data streams in. Navigation between pages should feel immediate now, especially on mobile. Signing in is smoother too: pages that need an account now redirect cleanly instead of flashing a half-loaded screen.
Deep fighter/entity filters no longer truncate or time out on large histories — results are complete and fast.
Searching across all matches with a fighter filter is dramatically faster too — queries that used to take seconds now come back instantly. And sharing a link to a competition or match now shows a proper preview card with the event's details wherever you paste it.
Your group's availability is now visible where you schedule — see when opponents are free without leaving the match page.
Eligibility rules are enforced consistently at report time, and a guard prevents accidentally confirming your own match result.
Teo's competition insights are back (they'd quietly gone stale), and the tone got a pass — clearer, no invented drama.
A wave of small mechanical fixes: tap targets, keyboard behavior, and layout consistency across match reporting and competition management.
Live drafts are harder to break and easier to follow: if both players disconnect, the draft no longer hangs forever — the server now resolves expired timers on its own. Reconnections repair themselves, and your opponent's moves have real presence: picks flash and stay marked in the pool, bans are announced with who made them, and the mobile view badges opponent activity while you're on your own tab.
The draft room also opens faster — it shows a proper loading state while it fetches everything at once — and it now survives us shipping an update while you're mid-draft: the board repairs itself automatically instead of stalling until a refresh, in the browser and in the Discord Activity alike. Smaller fixes ride along: bans are credited to the player who actually made them, pick highlights clear when the draft moves on to the next phase, and drafts that were never started tidy themselves up after a week.
