An inbox for Teo's suggestions, and competitive stats
Organizers get an inbox where Teo's suggestions wait for your approval, a
health check that spots problems in your competition, and a morning digest
of what's waiting. Stats now separate competitive play from casual
friendlies, the results export is free for everyone, and Team League
organizers get draw slots, a ban list they can adjust, and club logos.
For players
Competitive, Casual or All. On a game's character stats, the Play
filter now offers Competitive (tournaments, leagues and ladders),
Casual (friendlies) or All, in place of Ranked and Unranked. Old
links that used Ranked or Unranked open Competitive or Casual. On a match
page, the matchup panel's Ranked row is now Competitive.
Your record counts competitive play. The first tile on a profile is now
Competitive instead of Matches, and friendlies get their own line
underneath, like + 12 friendlies · 8W - 4L. Visitors only see the
friendlies you chose to share. Your dashboard shows both counts too.
Top competitive players. The leaderboard on the Players page now ranks
players by their win rate in tournaments, leagues and ladders only.
Small casual numbers stay hidden. On public stats, casual numbers for a
matchup, map or opponent only show once there are at least 3 games, so
nobody can work out a single friendly from them. Competitive numbers
always show in full.
Matchup numbers match the stats pages. The matchup panel on a match
page now counts the same way the fighter stats pages do: forfeits, byes
and games with more than two players are left out, variant fighters count
toward their main fighter, mirror matches show no panel, and draws count
in games that have them. Some numbers moved slightly.
The friendlies page moved. The friendlies page now has its own simple
home with Log a friendly and Recently shared. Old links still take
you there.
Download your results, free. Anyone signed in can download their match
results from Settings → Data with Download my results. You get a
zip with matches.csv and games.csv: completed matches only (forfeits and
byes are marked), including team and 2v2 matches and your friendlies, with
opponents under their public display name. It covers your 5,000 most
recent matches and every game in them, up to 3 downloads a day.
Data Export
Two reports at once. If someone else is reporting the same match as
you, you'll see Someone else is reporting this match right now. Refresh
and try again. instead of the two reports getting mixed up.
Steadier stage pages. Group standings on a stage page no longer flash a
loading placeholder or jump around as they load, especially on a phone.
Teo and your competition's inbox
An inbox for suggestions. Each competition's manage pages have a new
Inbox. When you ask Teo, on your competition's pages, to remind players
or settle something, Teo doesn't do it. It files a suggestion in the inbox
and in the chat, and nothing happens until you or another organizer
approves it. Approving runs it as you. Suggestions you don't act on expire
after a day.
What Teo can suggest. Reminding players to play their matches,
settling a match in the resolution queue, undoing a settled match,
opening or closing a Swiss round, and approving a pending registration.
Settling a match carries a note that it can change the result and the
standings, and closing a Swiss Elimination round says who it eliminates
or advances.
Undo. A forfeit, double forfeit or cancellation you approved can be
undone from Recent in the inbox, which reopens the match.
A health check. The manage overview has a Health check card that
looks for common problems every 15 minutes: a player with no fixture or
two fixtures in a round, a round past its deadline or ready to close,
unscheduled matches, matches waiting in the resolution queue,
registrations waiting for approval, and settings that don't fit together.
It only reports; it changes nothing. Check now runs it straight away,
and Acknowledge mutes a finding until it clears. It isn't shown on
Team League competitions.
One-tap fixes. Some findings come with a button that fixes them, like
Close Round 3 or Remind players in Round 3. Tapping it runs the fix
as you and records it in the inbox.
A morning digest. If something is waiting, like problems, queued
matches, suggestions or registrations, the competition's organizers get
one summary between 8 and 10 in the morning, in the competition's time
zone. Nothing is sent on days when nothing is waiting, and it comes at
most once a day. Turn it off in the competition's Notifications
settings, under Organizer daily digest.
For Team League organizers
Round 1 starts when you mean it to. When you generate a season,
Round 1 starts is set in the season's time zone and suggests the next
midnight there that's at least a day away. It can't be in the past. A
round with no fixtures never opens, by itself or with Open now.
Close a round before the next round's drafts. A round's draft can't be
recorded, by a captain or by you, while an earlier round is still open,
because that round's bans don't exist until you close it. Lineups don't
wait. Captains see why the draft is locked, and Needs attention shows a
Round to close item.
Draw slots. Pairings now follow the standard Berger table, so a live
draw reads off the usual sheet. After registration closes, you can give
each club in a division its draw slot and Save draw. Schedules that
already existed weren't changed.
A round calendar before you publish. You can create the round calendar
and move rounds before the schedule is published, and shift every later
round by the same amount.
A clearer seeding panel. The seeding panel shows each club's saved
division with the suggestion next to it, and Apply seeding only lights
up when something would move.
Adjust the bans. The Bans list shows every ban of the season by
division, with To season end, +1 round, Lift and Edit on each
row. Changing a ban the engine made marks it Organizer-adjusted, and
later results leave it alone; the row tells you if the engine would now
say something different, and Return to engine hands it back. Captains
aren't told when you change a ban, so let them know.
Recounts on close. Closing a round first recounts every fixture's score
from its boards, corrects any that had gone wrong, and says how many it
recounted.
Club logos. A club's owner, its captains and the organization's staff
can upload a logo on the club's Manage team page (PNG, JPG or WEBP, up
to 5 MB). It shows on the club's page and next to its fixtures.
Running a Team
Reporting a board is shorter. Once both fighter assignments are
revealed, each board already shows its fighters and map. Whoever reports
enters only the winner and both players' health.
Round notices arrive once. Round opening and closing notices now go out
exactly once each, within a few minutes of the round opening or closing.
Give a bye. You can give a player a bye by choosing the round, then the
group, then the player. Find it in Create Match, which now has a
Match or Bye choice, or next to a player on a round's pairing check.
A player can have one bye per round.
A pairing check on every round. Division round cards and the Swiss
round page now show a Pairing check that flags anyone Not paired or
Double-booked, with Give bye next to each player left out. It warns
and never blocks.
Generated fixtures stay together. Fixtures a division schedule made
can't be deleted one at a time; to change a round's pairings, regenerate
that round. Matches you added by hand can still be deleted.
Revert shows what it deletes.Revert to pre-lock now lists the
rounds, fixtures, agreed times and waiting time proposals it will remove.
If a round is open or a time is agreed, you type the division's name to
confirm.
Group seeds on division groups. Division group tables show each
player's seed within the group, and the overall seed is a tap away.
Groups are managed in each division. On a league with divisions, the
Groups screen points you to each division, where the groups live.
Groups and filters on the Matches tab. The Matches tab shows each
match's group on division stages, so you can filter by group.
Individual leagues get a Standings tab. Leagues for single players now
show Standings like other competitions, and creating a group on a
competition with several stages asks which stage it's for.
No archived competitions when logging a match. The competition list on
Log a Match no longer offers archived competitions.
