The organizer's Manage area has been reorganized around running the event:
one Inbox, a Dashboard that tells you what needs you, settings that only show
the features you use, and bulk actions on Participants. Teo's answers no
longer load images from other sites, and a few older competitions now show
the right tabs.
For organizers
A sidebar in three groups.Run your event is always open and
holds Dashboard, Participants, Stages, Matches and the Inbox. Setup
holds Settings, Rules, Branding, Notifications and the rest, and folds away
once play starts. Tools keeps the less-used pages, like the Activity
Log and Templates, folded until you need them.
Competition Dashboard
One Inbox. Teo's Suggestions and Matches to resolve (overdue
and disputed matches) are now two tabs of one Inbox, each with its
count, and the Inbox row in the sidebar shows how many are waiting. Teo
and the email about a disputed match now use the same name.
Inbox
A dot when something needs you.Dashboard shows a dot when a match
is disputed or something is past its deadline. On a phone, the menu button
shows it too.
Needs you now. The top of the Dashboard lists what needs you in order,
from disputes and missed deadlines down to optional setup, and each row
links to where you deal with it. While a round is in play, a line above it
shows where it stands, like "Round 3 of 5 · deadline in 2 days · 14 of 20
matches done". When the list is empty it says Nothing needs you right
now. The competition health check now sits at the foot of the list, with
Check now.
Needs you now
Settings show what you use. The Settings page shows the sections for
the features you've turned on. Each section keeps its essentials up front
and the rest behind Show advanced options. The Simple/Advanced switch
is gone: everyone managing the competition sees the same screens.
Add features, always in Setup.Add features is always in the
Setup group. Enabling a feature takes you straight to where you set it
up. The overdue-match feature is now called Deadline Detection.
Adding features
Checklist links go to the right page. Setup checklist items open the
page where you fix them: adding an organizer opens your organization's
members page, the Discord role opens Admin Tools, and a ladder's stage item
opens Ladder.
Groups live on their stage. A stage's groups are on that stage's own
page (Manage Groups on its card takes you there). To move a group to
another stage, open the group's Settings tab and pick the new
Stage.
Groups
Approve or drop several players at once. On Participants, tick the
players you want and use Approve or Drop, up to 50 at a time.
Approve fills the event to its cap in the order shown, and the rest stay
waiting. You see who's affected before anything happens. In a Team League
season, approve entries on the season's Teams tab instead.
Approving or dropping several at once
The cap holds however you admit someone. Outside Team League seasons,
approving a registration, setting a player to Confirmed and
Promote on the Waitlist tab are all refused once the competition is
full. Raise the cap or free a seat first. To bring back a dropped or
withdrawn player, Reinstate to Pending, then confirm them.
The Waitlist
Bulk nudges in Recent. Nudges you send to several matches from the
Matches tab are listed under Recent in the Inbox.
A notification for new suggestions. When an assistant you've connected
files a suggestion, you get one in-app notification. More suggestions
update it instead of piling up. You can turn it off with New
suggestions in the competition's notification settings.
Notification settings
Clearer dark mode. In dark mode, the Manage area's cards, tiles and
menus stand out from the page behind them.
Ladder page for every ladder. A few ladders couldn't open their
Ladder page in Manage. They can now.
For everyone
Stop, copy and try again in Teo. While Teo is answering, the send
button becomes Stop. Stopping ends the reply right away, along with the
work behind it, and the message you sent stays in the chat. A
stopped answer shows Stopped. with Retry. Finished answers have
Copy and Regenerate (Regenerate uses one of your daily messages,
like Retry, and isn't offered after Teo filed something for you). History
has a search box, and chat titles no longer show internal ids.
Teo's answers no longer load images from other sites. Images in an
answer aren't shown, and any HTML shows as plain text.
Tabs follow the stages. A competition's format now comes from its
stages everywhere. For some older competitions the Bracket and
Standings tabs change to match the stages they actually have, for
example a group stage now shows its groups table.
Players under their own club. On team-league fixture cards, each
player now always shows in their own club's column, with their result
beside them. Some cards had two players swapped. The results themselves
were always right.
Why a friendly matchup might be missing. A character's matchup stats
and the matchup matrix now say that friendly games show in a matchup once
there are at least 3, while tournament, league and ladder games always
show.
