Time-zone pickers now show the right UTC offset all year round, and the sign-up
page lost a setup notice that was never meant for players.
For everyone
Time-zone offsets follow daylight saving. When you pick a time zone in
your profile, during onboarding, or for a competition, each zone shows its
offset as it is today, so New York reads UTC−05:00 once the clocks go back
instead of UTC−04:00. The list is sorted by that offset. Your saved time zone
and every match, deadline and notification time are unchanged; those were
always right.
